Ravel Girls Rocket Watch
Some little girls dream of walking down the fashion runway and being a super model, while others dream of walking down the runway and climbing into their own spaceship to blast off into the wild blue yonder. While Sally Ride may have been the first female astronaut there will be many more to come and perhaps your little girl will be one of them. The Ravel Girls Rocket Watch is the ideal time piece for your budding space pilot.
As with any children's watch from Ravel the Girls Rocket watch has a Time Teacher face that is round with at two tone orange and grey outer ring that helps her to learn to tell the time. The grey half ring on the right side shows the after the hour minutes, while the orange half ring on the left side shows the before the hour minutes. The hour and minute hands are colour coded and there is a sweep second hand all run by a precision quartz analog battery powered movement.
The case is made from chrome plated metal alloy and will stand up to years of childhood fun and games. The crystal is a special acrylic plastic that is scratch resistant so that your young space dreamer can still see the time many months after her first lift off. The black rubberized polyurethane band is covered with three dimensional images from space. There are rockets, aliens, stars and space ships to keep your little girl dreaming of the day when she will soar off into space to explore strange new worlds. It has a stainless steel buckle and plenty of holes for adjustment.
This Ravel Girls Rocket watch comes in a special Stripey Funtime Ravel cases that can be used to store her new watch in or as a trinket bag. It also comes with an instruction booklet and a one year warranty from Ravel.
If my son has his way he will be one of the first guys to set foot on Mars. He is an absolute space nut. If it has anything to do with space and rocketships or aliens he loves it. With this in mind we could not have done anything better than buying him this watch. For us though a new watch for him had to go beyond looks, it had to be tough enough to stand up to the daily rough and tumble of our lad. He has had this watch for a while now and despite spending much of its life in the dirt and mud as he builds space stations and launching pads, it is still ticking along quite nicely. While the band has gotten few scratches it still looks good and my son has loved it since the day he opened the package. This is a really good watch for any little boy.
